Introducing Our Team
Dr Russell Hunter Dr Hunter graduated from the University of Queensland in 1983. He held registrar positions in paediatrics and geriatrics while at the PA Hospital. He has a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and a certificate in Family Planning. He enjoys keeping up to date with the latest techniques in skin surgery by assisting a facial plastic surgeon at St Andrews Hospital. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice, particularly skin cancer, paediatrics and general medicine.
Dr Meg Marsden Meg has worked in the Cleveland area since 1986. She resides in the area and has three teenage children. General Practice appeals to Meg as it allows her the opportunity to care holistically for her patients physical health. She is interested in helping her patients achieve happiness and contentment with life.
Dr Noella MacPherson Dr Noella graduated from university in 1994. She joined the Pivotal team in November 2010. Her interests are in all areas of general practice with an emphasis on young children, women and family medicine. Noella enjoys reading, music, gardening and spending time with her young family.
Dr Simone Carlotto Simone graduated from Griffith University in 2011 with first class honours. Simone began working at Pivotal Health in January 2014 and returns to the practice in a permanent role from 18th January 2016. She has spent 2015 working in western Queensland and has recently successfully completed her General Practice Exams and will shortly gain her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Simone has a passion for all areas of general practice with an emphasis on Women’s Health. Simone loves going to the beach, keeping fit, animals and travelling especially to remote areas of Australia and to her mum’s home town in the Philippines. Her and her partner have recently purchased their first home in the area and will be celebrating their wedding in 2016.
Dr Adrian Ellis Adrian graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010. He joined the Pivotal Health team in January 2014 while on the GP Training Program. He is returning to the practice from 18th January 2016 in a permanent role. During 2015 Adrian has been working at an outer metro general practice located in Springfield Lakes. During 2015 he has studied hard and recently successfully completed his GP exams and will shortly gain his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to medicine he worked as a physiotherapist for 16 years and has significant experience this field. Adrian’s practice of both physiotherapy and medicine have provided him considerable experience in health promotion and chronic disease management. During 2015 while working in Springfield he has developed a passion for paediatric and family medicine he is looking forward to delivering patient centered care to his patients on his return. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, photography and travelling.
Dr Natalie See Recently returned from Mount Isa, Natalie and her family are again enjoying living in the bayside. Graduating from the University of Queensland in 2009, she completed her general practice training in 2017, working in hospitals and general practices in Brisbane and regional Queensland.
Natalie is a general practitioner because she enjoys the broad scope of practice, ability to get to know patients and to prevent illness as well as treat disease. Her special interests are paediatrics, perinatal and breastfeeding support, having completed further training in these areas including the Diploma of Child Health. She is also planning to undertake further training in allergy in 2020.
Outside of work she has 3 young children so spends much of her time being a mum and hanging out with the family. She also likes to run, cycle and cook, often with children in tow
Dr Tristan Shirlaw Tristan joins the Pivotal Health team as part of his GP training, and has
particular interests in palliative care, chronic disease management, and
He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 after
completing a dual degree in Medicine & Surgery, and Biomedical Science,
and then spent the following three years working at the Logan Hospital,
with time in almost every specialty that the hospital offers to ensure a
broad range of experience.
Tristan is Brisbane born and raised, and follows the family trade with both parents also working as GPs in the South-East region, and an extended family that heavily features nurses, midwifes and medical imaging specialists. Outside of work, he spends his free time in constant battle to defend his ever-expanding and almost entirely edible pot-plant garden against caterpillars and other voracious insects.
Maria Lewis – Registered Nurse Maria joined our team in 2013 and brings with her many years of nursing experience. Maria has worked in various areas of nursing including acute care in the hospital setting, aged care and general practice. Maria enjoys the challenges and variety general practice brings.
Sue Dalrymple – Registered Nurse Sue joined the Pivotal team in December 2018. Sue has recently relocated to QLD from Victoria. She has extensive experience in working in General Practice.
