Born and raised in Brisbane, he completed both high school and university locally before commencing his medical career. In March 2026, Dr Daniel became Clinical Director and business partner at Pivotal Health, quickly becoming a highly regarded member of the team among both long-term patients and staff.
Before moving into General Practice, Daniel gained extensive hospital experience both within and outside Queensland, working across respiratory medicine, cardiology, plastic surgery, emergency medicine and paediatric emergency medicine.
Daniel enjoys the hands-on procedural aspect of General Practice and performs a wide range of procedures including skin excisions and biopsies, Implanon insertions and removals, iron infusions, Aclasta infusions, venesections, and other procedures that can benefit patients in a primary care setting.
He also has a strong interest in mental health and enjoys supporting patients experiencing depression and anxiety through a holistic and personalised approach to care.
With his extensive background in internal medicine, Daniel has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of chronic health conditions including asthma, emphysema, diabetes, hypertension and heart failure.
During school and university, Daniel was a competitive runner and triathlete. While he has since stepped away from endurance sport, he now enjoys going to the gym and has recently taken up CrossFit. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, exploring local food experiences, and practising mindfulness and meditation, and hopes to find more time to attend meditation retreats in the future.
