Iron Infusion

Iron infusions may be recommended to treat iron deficiency anaemia when dietary changes or oral supplements have not been effective or suitable.

We accept referrals for iron infusions for both new and existing patients.

Iron Infusion

Initial Consultation
An initial consultation is required to discuss the procedure and their clinical eligibility to have this done. A second appointment is needed to have the iron infusion completed. If you have had recent pathology testing, please advise our friendly reception staff which pathology company provided your tests so that we can download your results for our doctor to review prior to your infusion.

Cost
Current fees for an iron infusion can be obtained by contacting our friendly reception team. If you have a valid Medicare card, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate, which can be processed after payment.

Contact
If you have any questions about iron infusions or your appointment, please contact Pivotal Health. Our friendly team will be happy to assist you.
