During this challenging and stressful time we though it would be nice to offer some support to some of the most vulnerable in our community so that they know they we are thinking of them and they are not alone.
Our community members who are residents of aged care facilities have recently had their social activities cancelled and their visitors significantly restricted due to the Coronavirus pandemic. This must be a very sad, lonely and scary time for these residents who must miss regular contact with their family and friends.
The aim of the project is to bring the community together and to teach our kids to think of others. We want to make sure our local nursing home residents feel part of our community, know that someone is thinking of them and to brighten their day.
To launch the project we will be not be running our normal Easter Colouring in Competition but we will have Easter cards that are downloadable from our website.
How to get involved
1.We need you to visit https://pivotalhealth.com.au/easter-card-colouring/
2. Download the page/s you want to colour in and print off
3. Spend some time colouring your masterpiece – write a message in the space provided or ask a grown up for help.
4.When complete drop your card/s into our practice (if you are not self quarantine) or scan and email to pivotalhealthcleveland@outlook.com or post to Pivotal Health, PO Box 1103, Cleveland, QLD 4163
5. Spread the word. Share our posts, tag a friend and get you friends and family to join our project.
